Grandparents gathered in large numbers, and there was a nostalgic vibe in the air as over a thousand kids came to the stage with their mesmerizing performances. Justice Shri. Swapan Chandra Das, the Honourable chairperson of Tripura Human Rights Commission, inspired the gathering with his presence as Chief Guest and a meaningful message. Fr. Jilson Tom CSC, our principal, welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering. In his welcome address, he underlined the importance of celebrating Grandparents’ Day, emphasizing gratitude to all the grandparents for the important role they play in positive attachment and family life. At the end of the formal function, Fr. Agi Paul CSC, our Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks which followed the overwhelming energetic foot-tapping performances.
Students from Nursery to class IV entertained the gathering with their power-packed multi-lingual dance-drama performances to show their appreciation for all the love and tenderness they received from their grandparents.
